Community Standards

The standards that keep a private Quorum club thoughtful, safe, and worth returning to.

Effective September 8, 2026

Read generously

Quorum is a private reading room. Disagreement about a book is welcome; contempt for another reader is not. Be curious, give context, and remember that a note can meet someone days after you wrote it. Literary quotation, profanity, and discussion of dated or offensive language and norms are allowed. A “bad word” alone is not a violation; context and conduct matter. You must still have the right to share what you post.

Protect the room

  • Do not harass, threaten, stalk, shame, or target another person.
  • Do not promote hatred or violence based on protected or personal characteristics.
  • Do not share private identifying information, credentials, invitation links, or another person’s writing without permission.
  • Do not post spam, scams, malware, impersonation, or manipulated content intended to deceive or exploit.
  • Do not post unlawful material or copyrighted text you do not have the right to share.

Respect spoiler boundaries

Attach a note to the page that actually supports it. Do not hide a later spoiler at an earlier page, share a locked note outside the club, or try to bypass another reader’s progress boundary. When in doubt, wait.

Child safety

Quorum prohibits content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, grooms, traffics, or endangers a child, including child sexual abuse material, sextortion, or attempts to facilitate such conduct. Confirmed material will be removed, access may be terminated, and reports will be made to the appropriate authorities where required by law.

Concerns and enforcement

In supported beta builds, open another member’s authorized profile and choose Report a concern to report the member or a note you can currently read. Locked notes cannot be selected for reporting. Your in-app acknowledgement is the final report receipt. There is no participant report history, email update, or promised outcome.

You can also block a member privately from their profile. Blocking applies within the selected club, hides their notes from you, and does not notify the blocked member. It does not remove them from the club or replace a report. Submission checks help reject unsafe content and limit abuse; they do not treat literary profanity alone as a violation.

Quorum may conceal a note, restrict a profile, or suspend access to the selected club. Authorized operators review the exact reported target; this does not grant general access to browse a club’s writing. ThePrivacy Policy explains report-review access and retention.

support@lukerykta.io is monitored for questions and technical or access problems. If the reporting path is broken or inaccessible, contact Support for help restoring it. Do not send passwords, authentication links, invite codes, raw database identifiers, or copies of note content. Safety decisions remain in the reporting workflow; email is not a separate moderation channel.

Support is not an emergency service and does not promise 24/7 availability or an immediate response. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Changes

These standards will evolve with the product. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
